Computer along with the Web has become a significant element in everyday life. It allows people to communicate, bank, shop and entertain. The global network of the Internet, for instance, connects people and information via computers. New Media is defined not only as a communication tool, but also as a tool for the commercial exchange of goods and services. Consumer goods are for sale, and personal property may be auctioned, through the Internet. New Media is increasingly ubiquitous in everyday life.
I like technology, all types. I also like learning how they were designed, more specifically what led to their design. I particularly like those people who come up with such innovative creations and to study what motivated them. That pretty much sums up why I chose Computer Science as my primary field of interest, I believe pursuing a career in this field will give me an insight into some of such innovations and also give me a better understanding of the special relationship between computers and people.
